Now, talking about looking stylish and presentable … Yes.. It’s important!  I think it’s important – not because of what others think,  but because of how it makes you feel about yourself.

It’s not about getting dressed like a diva but it is definitely about feeling good about how you look. We all know that depression and low self-esteem are quite a common post-pregnancy and I feel,  it has something to do with the appearance too!

We suddenly start feeling less attractive and start comparing ourselves with the way we looked before pregnancy… We remember those pre-mommy days when we felt like a rock star in any outfit… Motherhood is the greatest blessing and at the end.. Everything is worth it!

Being stylish is about enjoying your life and expressing yourself and your inner light.
I know we mom love our sweat pants and Tshirts, but it’s time to leave those at home and look our best in public…

Having a closet full of clothes isn’t always the best closet to have. Add more basics and staple pieces to your wardrobe. Finding mom-appropriate but stylish apparel pieces for your closet that can take you from work to playground to date night is key.

Accessories play an important role:  Fashion accessories with interesting details can add some excitement to a simple outfit.

Bright color lips:   I love bold color lips. And, when I feel something is not working for my look, I go for Red lips…  It’s amazing what swiping on some red lipstick can do for your confidence levels, even on the cloudiest of days.

Basic Makeup:   Keeping your look simple – from makeup to clothes to accessories – will save you time and headaches. Go for neutral makeup:  A tinted sunscreen, concealer, highlighter, and bright lips can go well for the casual day looks with not much time needed to set or blend your makeup. Rock a messy bun with your casual look to save some time on hairstyling.

Well-shaped eyebrows: Eyebrows are one of the most popular trends in beauty. Well-Shaped eyebrows can make your face look symmetrical and add definition to your features.

Take care of your skin and hair: Motherhood somehow takes over and we start neglecting ourselves. But, to look good it’s very important to have healthy looking skin and hair. When you have clear skin and shiny hair, it takes less time for makeup and hairstyling. So, eat well and do routine care of your skin & hair.

Pre- Planning:  If you have some major event or any special occasion that you are planning to attend. Do yourself a favor and get into the habit of thinking through the next day’s outfit the night before. I think deciding on something with a peace of mind really helps… So, after your kids are off to bed, it’s time for you to dig into your wardrobe and plan that perfect outfit with all the accessories. I feel shampooing the night before would also help but it’s up to you…

Find a wardrobe that you feel comfortable and confident in:

With so much of your time and energy being taken up by mommy-ing, it can be hard to get motivated to look stylish and to look put together but also be comfortable for everything the day holds. But as they say, when you look good, you feel good. Be a stylish mom and feel confident during pregnancy, postpartum and beyond with Pink blush.

Coral Solid Mock Neck Ruffle Sleeve Dress

I am a sucker for anything with sleeve details and look at the gorgeous layered ruffle detail on the sleeves… just so cute! The coral color of this dress is perfect for springs and the mock neckline is just so stylish. Dressing up in such stunning outfits won’t need much creativity or effort. Also, for the coming spring/summer season, I am going to add more dresses & statement pieces to my closet. Dresses are the best option when you don’t have much time to mix & match your outfits and you want to look good too!

The style is something very individual, very personal, and in their own unique way, everyone is stylish.

Whether you are a stay at home mom or a working mom… Dressing up properly as per the need of the occasion shows that you are vigilant with respect to your lifestyle and profession. Find some me-time for your self too and at the end of the day, we look good because we want to and because it makes us feel just a little more comfortable in our own skin.
